He's a Smart One, That Negroponte

The National Director of Intelligence is a cabinet level position created in response to intelligence failures leading up to the war in Iraq. It was established as the first step in reforming the intelligence functions across all federal agencies. So it's really comforting to learn that the first Director, John Negroponte, has announced that reform is his top concern. Really, I was worried that he missed the whole point.
