I think the word "brilliant" is quite appropriate. Lakoff and Lifton would both appreciate your insight.

This is the type of generic proof we need to make our arguement that "they" have a way of creating a crisis wherever they want it, yet they ignore real disasters.

Is Gerard a hired naysayer, planted purposely to diminish the quality of our confidence?

Hope these "revisionist historians" never get a handle on Google...
