I've been stretched thin this week - and hit a real speed bump in my blogging enthusiasm. Everyone who blogs must have times where they wonder if they're whistling in the dark. I posted my own frustration and got some real encouragement - especially from Mick. While I wanted to post "I QUIT" in giant letters on my blog, I knew that I'd be back at the keyboard, opining away, doing the one thing I can do consistently to tip the balance a tiny bit back towards sanity. Perhaps I'll just rename my blog "Whistling in the Dark" or "A Voice in the Wilderness". Hmmm.
So here I am. Catching up again after the inaugural blow out (I'm entirely in agreement with Jack Balkin's take on Bush's speech, except I didn't like it as much) and I'm ready to dive back in. If I'm fortunate then I won't have as much time to blog as I have in the past (interesting things in my business and online activities in the works), but that should serve to focus my posts and perhaps tighten my writing a bit. We'll see. Regardless, I'm driven to speak out and for now, this is the best forum I have. Hope to see you in the comments.
Truth to tell, I never liked your title. Your thoughts are hardly 'random'.
Can I suggest Whistling for the Light?
